How is Handed Card different from a normal digital business card?

Most digital business cards focus on exchanging contact details or capturing a new lead. Handed Card is designed as a client-return path: the recipient keeps the owner's branded pass in Apple Wallet, supported details can stay current, and the owner can send limited, pass-relevant updates without receiving a holder phone or email list.

What is an Apple Wallet business card?

An Apple Wallet business card is a signed digital pass that stores a professional's name, company, contact actions, and QR code in the Wallet app on iPhone. Unlike a paper card or static image, the issuer can keep the installed pass current after it has been shared.

How do I add a business card to Apple Wallet?

Create the card in Handed Card, open its personal link on an iPhone, tap Add to Apple Wallet, and confirm Add. A recipient can follow the same flow from the stable QR code or shared link without creating an account or installing a separate app.

Can I update the card after someone saves it?

Yes. When the owner edits a supported field, Handed Card signs a new version and uses Apple's pass update system to notify registered devices. Wallet can then request and replace the older copy; delivery depends on the device, network, and Wallet settings.

Does the recipient need the Handed Card app?

No. Recipients use Safari and the Apple Wallet app already included with iPhone. They do not need a Handed Card account, and Handed Card does not charge them to add or keep the pass.

What is the difference between a QR code card and a Wallet card?

A standard QR code business card usually opens a web page. Handed Card combines a stable QR and public contact page with a native Apple Wallet pass that supports signed updates, approved location metadata, and rate-limited owner announcements.

Does an Apple Wallet business card work offline?

The installed pass and its embedded QR code remain visible without a connection. Opening the public page, downloading a contact, receiving a new pass version, or following online links still requires internet access.

Can I keep my address private?

Yes. Owners can turn off Show my location on the card. Handed Card then removes the owner's address, city, coordinates, directions, Wallet proximity data, public-page data, and vCard address while retaining the issuer support address required for the pass.

How much does Handed Card cost?

Handed Card starts at the $5 per month founding rate for one living Wallet card, unlimited holders, supported live updates, a QR landing page, and four pass-relevant announcements per month. Business and Agency plans add location, analytics, support, and multi-card capabilities. Handed Card does not charge recipients.
